Dennis has a few words

Almost 2 weeks now since we hit the road, literally living on the road, unlike a holiday this is exploring and managing each day as it comes. So far you will have read that we have both been to the doctor and i'm still getting over my cold. Having left the lakes district we headed for the mountains at Barrington Tops, no sooner had we arrived and opened the camper, down came the rain for the next 12 hours, luckily there was a large communal shelter with a big fire place and we had bought some firewood with us. Bunkered down for the duration we sat by the fire, Steph read and drank teas, I drank some wine to go with a prawn and flathead dinner cooked on the barbi. It was a cold night with the only company being the birds, I be friended a Kookaburra and got some great up close shots. Next morning we got up at sparrows, packed up wet and moved to a Caravan park for a dry out in Tamworth. Looking to immerse ourselves in Country Music this place is a bit dissappointing outside of festival time however we did sit through the history of country music and will visit more sites today. The pace of life has slowed somewhat and we are starting to get into routine. The Patrol and the Camper are performing as would be expected with the only hiccup being a chipped windscreen which we have had repaired, not hopeful this will last and a replacement may be on the cards. Met some interesting people and looking forward to Coffs Harbour for a weeks stay and a game of golf at Bonville (Mike bring your money for this one)
