Matt Moore, Dennis's father, passed away this morning, 7 August, 2010, on his 89th birthday. He led a good life, serving his country in World War 2 and working hard all his life to raise six children. Dennis will remember him for so many things, and for me, I will always remember his sense of humour and his great stories. He will be sadly missed, and we are greatful that his passing was a peaceful one.
We are in Broome, waiting to catch our flight to Melbourne. It is expected that the funeral will be on Thursday. The family requests no flowers be sent. A single wreath will accompany the coffin.
